September 6: Three events take place today:

  • Friends of the library book sale. 10am-2pm.Come and support the Friends of the Library by shopping at our Booksale. Just enter through the back door by the back parking lot. Lots of things for everyone.
  • We the People program. 2-4pm. Come and hear the history of Dodge City's Mexican Village. Fun for the whole family.
  • TALK program. 7pm. Let's TALK about literature. Scholar Charlotte Hinger will discuss the book "Trail of the Spanish Bit." Sponsored by the Dodge City Public Library and the Kansas Humanities Council.
September 16: Basics of Investing -- a survival guide. 7pm. Melanie Harshberger of Edward Jones Investments will give a talk on the basics of investing.

September 17: New Book Power Lunch. 12-1pm. Bring your lunch to the library and eat while the staff shows you what new items are available for checkout at the public library.

September 20: Let's TALK about literature. 7pm. Dr. Jim Hoy will discuss the book "Sod and Stubble." Sponsored by the Dodge City Public Library and the Kansas Humanities Council.
